What is "Green
Building?"
Green Building is a phrase commonly used to
describe building techniques that have less
impact on the environment than conventional
building techniques.
Green building encompasses using specific
materials and techniques, often with third
party verification.
What are the advantages of Green
Building?
The more well known advantage is that by
incorporating Green Building techniques into
our built environment we lessen the impact our
buildings have on the environment. The other
advantages, similar to Energy Star building is
better indoor air quality and a better built,
higher quality of buildings!
